Permanent jewelry is a chain that is custom cut to your measurements then welded together with a pulse arc welder. This creates a small flash that welds the chain/jump ring together, meaning that there will be no clasp.

All permanent jewelry can be simply cut at the jump ring/weld if it needs to be taken off. A small wire cutters works best for this.

Yes, we can re-weld the jewelry if it is taken off or broken at the jump ring, if it is in it’s original condition for a re-welding fee. (original condition meaning it isn’t stretched out or irreparable)

We can try and repair another brand's jewelry but can't guarantee that it will work. This is due to not knowing what the other material is made of or not having a jump ring size for that chain.

No, it should definitely not hurt. The jewelry is welded to itself not to your body. We place a piece of leather between the jewelry and your body when welding as a barrier, we also provide shaded glasses for eye protection if you'd like them.

Permanent jewelry is (mostly) permanent. While it should last you a long time it is still a delicate chain so should be taken care of like any fine jewelry piece. It is also meant to break off if it needs to in the instance of it getting caught on something as to not hurt the wearer.

Yep it can! It is meant to be worn for a long time so you can definitely wear it while you shower and swim. Just use some mild soap and water after being in chlorine/salt water/using chemicals (ex. sunscreen/lotion/cleaning supplies) to avoid tarnishing and wipe with the jewelry cloth every so often.

If you swim in chlorine/salt water, get lotion or sunscreen on your jewelry, or get your jewelry dirty be sure to wash it off with a mild soap and water to avoid tarnishing. Other than that take care to avoid snagging it on anything and use your jewelry wipe every so often to keep it nice and clean. It is delicate fine jewelry so be sure to keep it clean as much as possible.

Gold-filled jewelry has 100x more gold alloy than gold plated and because that layer is so much thicker, it means gold-filled jewelry lasts longer and stands up to wear and tear better than gold plated. Gold plated scratches easily and exposes the brass underneath. This is the main reason why we will always carry gold filled or full gold pieces. Gold filled has many layers of gold that is pressure bonded to brass for a more affordable, quality, real-gold piece.

Sterling silver is a high-quality choice and an alloy of silver containing 92.5% by weight of silver and 7.5% by weight of other metals, usually copper. Sterling silver is durable and stands up over time which makes it a great metal for permanent jewelry. Silver does tarnish just due to it’s natural properties so be sure to keep it nice and clean with the jewelry cloth and a mild soap and water.

All of our jewelry is sterling silver and 14K gold filled, which means it is nickel free which is the most common metal allergy. Both 14k gold filled and sterling silver are hypoallergenic, which means they are highly unlikely to cause a reaction.

Once we custom measure and cut the chain it is final sale. We also charge 50% of the service price for day of cancellations/no-shows.

Minimum welding age is 8, anyone under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

We also do not apply necklaces to anyone under 16.

Yes, for the most part. With any jewelry if it gets caught and snags on something it can cause injury, for that reason we provide delicate chains that are meant to break before causing injury.

When selecting between a bracelet, necklace or anklet please be aware of how it will feel with shoes/shirts on and how a necklace may feel around your neck all the time.

Again, if you need to take it off for any reason just cut it at the welded jump ring.

All permanent jewelry is done at the wearer’s discretion.

Black marks or discoloration can be tarnishing, that just means that either the base metal of the gold fill was opened to the air (this takes a long time to happen and it is most likely just dirty) or in terms of sterling silver it can tarnish when coming into contact with any chemicals/sweat/oils.

You can get rid of this with your polishing cloth or a jewelry cleaner. To help prevent tarnishing wash your jewelry with warm water and mild soap every so often especially when coming into contact with any chemicals. (ex. sunscreen, lotion, cleaning supplies, chlorine, salt water)

In regards to an anklet, black marks on your skin may be from dirt getting trapped underneath your anklet. This can easily be washed off and isn’t a sign of tarnishing.
